Of Reunion and Farewell

So it has been three freaking weeks since my last entry and I'm still struggling to find some time for this blog. No worries, I'm not giving up blogging. Just need some time to adjust my life to the crazy schedule that I have in F&B. Oh yes... FYI, I'm no longer in Housekeeping. I'm currently working in Iketeru, a Japanese fine dining restaurant in my hotel. Good news is I get to eat! Bad news is I have a 12 to 10 shift. Not that I'm working 10 hours but there is a 3 hours break somewhere in the middle of my shift which is maximum suckiness! Other than that I'm learning a lot from my internship. I've already gotten used to the environment so much so that sometimes I forgot that I'm actually a trainee and not a permanent staff. It's kinda freaky actually because I'm afraid that I might self consciously create an emotional bond with my working place and of course the people. Whatever it is, my spirit to give the best of me remains high... for now. Time will tell what's installed for me in the near future I guess.

On another note, I've been off from work for two days now because of my replacement holiday which means that I'm starting work tomorrow... I mean later this morning lol. I'm so thankful for this replacement holiday couldn't have come at the most strategic timing as my friends are back for their holidays from their internship in Langkawi. So the two days of my off days were spent together catching up on our life as a hotelier. Guess I was dead wrong when I thought we would never see each other again until graduation. Seeing them sure reminds me of how much I missed them sigh... okay okay enough of this mushy mushy stuff. The first day we managed to catch a movie and since I got to make the choice, I chose SM. I meant Slumdog Millionaire okay... dirty minds. Why they won so many Oscars? You have to watch it for yourself then :) Don't worry, I assure you that there are no rolling on endless field or hiding behind countless coconut trees type of musical drama in the middle of intense action to 'potong stim' however there is one at the end of the show haha... I guess Bollywood has somehow charmed Hollywood with their trademark musical dramas. Let's just hope they don't incorporate this idea in shows like Street Fighter or Dragon Ball. Back to the topic, last night we had steamboat at Damansara Village with one of our lecturers. It was all joke and fun but we had our serious moments especially when he gave us some reality check on our readiness for the hotel industry. Food was good and the environment was great. Would have describe more but this entry isn't about food hehe... After dinner we chatted a while then I randomly asked if we would be getting any chance to see each other again. Everyone agreed it would be almost impossible then we parted. Sigh... another goodbye.
